Mason had a social studies project to do. We did this same project last year with Gunner. I think our second one turned out better. He had to make mountain ranges, a valley, volcano, desert, swamp... You get the idea. After a project like this, you watch them take it to school and hope you get a good grade. I mean they get a good grade.
February 24th Kayla had puppies. Andrew came home just in time. He went out back to check on her and thought she was acting funny... Oh! she already had a puppy under the trampoline! I'm pretty sure she was thinking, what the heck just happened to me?! He got her all set up in the storage room and 5 more puppies were born. Three girls and three boys.
Everyone had a chance to see a puppy born. Even some neighbors! She has been a good mama and they are getting pretty chubby.
March 1st I went with Helping Hands Preschool (the best preschool in the land) on a field trip to the temple! What fun! 13 cute little kids.
We loved smelling all the beautiful flowers.
They also thought all the reflecting pools were fun. My eyes watered as they sang I Love to see the Temple, all holding hands.
It totally looks like they are standing in the water.
Posing on the petrified tree.
When we came to the east side of the temple we were talking to the lady watering the flowers and then we noticed the lion fountains.... I can't even count how many times I've been to the temple, never noticed these fountains before. I guess you really do learn something new every time you go there, even if you don't go inside!
They all really love the statue of the Savior. It was such a peaceful experience.
And to finish up, a temple snack before the ride home! I am so happy Rigdon gets to go to school with Miss Maren and Miss Miquel!
As usual things are moving right along.
The afternoons are about to get crazy as Mason is starting physical therapy, and going back to gymnastics. We will certainly be breaking in the new car. Too bad gas costs a small fortune right now.
