Surprise! Disney Land!!!

February 6th we sent all the kids off to school, then I proceeded to pack everyones stuff and tidy up the house. It was quite the job! Packing for a teenage girl is a little worrisome.

The kids were thrilled when we picked them up from school and told them we were headed for Disney!

We stayed at the Portofino Hotel. We like it and have stayed there before. It is pretty spacious with the family.

The next day we hit the park! We started at Disney Land since we could get in there early. OF course we went right to Space mountain! Thrilling blasting through space.

We hit the materhorn. I think they have slowed it down a bit.
Waiting in line... Not a long on though.

Then we ran over to California adventure to see if we could get on the new Cars ride, and get some corn dogs for lunch. If you've never had a disney corn dog, you are missing out! YUM!
Andrew went to get us fast passes for the ride. It was 12:30 and fortunately for us they still had fast passes available. They usually sell out about 11. While he did that we rode Maters spinning trucks.

 They were pretty fun!
Then we made our way down to Radiator Springs.
 It. Is. Awesome!!!

The line said the wait was only 45 minutes so we decided to give it a go then ride again with our fast passes.
We really waited an hour and a half... But those Disney people are smart the lines are wider and they have people come through the lines selling snacks and drinks.
After we did our time, Here we go!

It was so fun cruising through the town. Getting new paint or wheels.

OF course who doesn't love some friendly competition?! A race at the end! The boys won. I rode three times and every time I was in the losing car. darn.
We had so much fun! It wasn't busy and the weather wasn't too bad, a little chilly but good. Rigdon could just about ride everything so that was pretty sweet. We did have an odd number so somebody was usually sitting apart but we traded around. As we walked back to the hotel we went across the street to dine at the ihop. Then off to dream land.

Happy Birthday Grandpa White!

So right after Grandma and Grandpa returned from the mission Grandpa White turned 70. Which means a great big party! Very exclusive, All the family:)

This is the Grandparents with all the grandkids. Well the current ones anyway, I'm sure the number will grow. Although no announcements from me.
