Happy Birthday Sienna!!!

May 15th! Yay Sienna's day has arrived! She has been looking forward to turning 8 since she turned 7.
She took treats to school and went to ballet to get ready for her demonstrations on Saturday. Here she is modeling her outfit for demonstration day.

Saturday was the big day! She had ballet demonstrations at Studio R Ballet.

She did a fantastic job and is becoming quite the ballerina.

After the demonstrations we headed to Build a Bear Workshop for her party. Kind of a big deal since I mostly believe in family parties. So a friend party is exciting.
Friends who came.Cadance, Emma, Chloe, Lucy Kamryn, Claire, Kennedy, Elexa, and Kalee

Everyone had to get their hearts ready to go in their bears.
Rub it on your heart for love, forehead to always remember,  and bum so always stay behind you.  jsut to name a few.

They played games while they took turns stuffing their bears.

Sienna ready to stuff her bear, Lizzy.

 Decorating their homes.
 Then opening presents.

Oops I found a few extra good ballet pictures!
 She is just so cute!

We love Sienna! She is full of life and bring so much joy wherever she goes.

Wedding time.

As May 10th approached, I decided to learn how to make these little onsies with ties on them. Cute, right? It was very easy thanks to my mother in law for teaching me the little baby boys at the wedding will look so dapper.

I enjoyed some baby love at the grooms dinner for Paul and Chelsey. Porter and Gracin.

I had lots of love for baby Elsie too!
Look I actually have a picture of Elsie's elusive parents, Jordan and Cristal.

Sienna loving on baby Elsie at the moment.
 The Bride and Groom.
Julia, myself, Rachael, Cristal, Katt, and Emilee.
Rigdon, Andee kae, and Sienna waiting while pictures are taken.
 Sienna and baby Gracin.
My kids all coordinated for the grooms dinner. Apparently I was in a green mood when I bought the collared shirts for my boys. Funny, they weren't even bought at the same time.

Mothers day!

Mother's Day! I am so thankful to be a mother to these cute little kiddos.

I am also thankful for my own mom and all she does for me!
I went to Rigdon's kindergarten class for a little celebration. they sang to us and I had such a hard time not falling apart weeping! He was so cute and seems like my last little one:(
Sienna and I went to her first activity day.  A mother/ daughter spa day. Sienna did a great job polishing my nails! So sad I didn't take a picture.
There was also a mother/daughter enrichment. We learned to hula and had yummy food. Sienna and Belle all dressed up and ready for a photo shoot.
Cristal arrived just in time to come to dinner to celebrate our mother!! Soranos, and oh so yummy. An extra perk, they gave all the mother's 1/2 off that day! Rachael was off celebrating her own mothers day. sadness:(

The end of April

Everyone had dental check ups in April. Look how they put the kids to work cleaning their own teeth.
This is Sienna, I didn't make the other kids pose for pics. Actually I think I had to drop them and run, then pick them up when they were done. Some serious craziness was happening at the time!

Baby Gracin was born! A new addition to Katt and Andy. He is just so cute! I was ready to jump in the car to hold him as soon as he came out.
We drained the swimming pool. Yay! It was time. This is Ashlynn getting the last of the water out with the shop vac.
The kids thought it was positively thrilling to have the pool empty. We were totally freaked out on eof them were going to fall in and hurt themselves. Needless to say it was filled up quickly. Well as quick as you can with one hose... A few days.
Gunner had a little accident while riding his scooter home from a friends house. He hit a rock and flipped over the front of the handle bars landing on his shoulder. Some of our friends saw it happen and gave him a ride home. Thanks Sean and Christine Merrill!

Of course we were waiting for his so we could go hang out at Jody and Angela's. He said he was ok. We thought we would wait and see how he was feeling in a little bit.

The pain kept up, although he could lift his arm above his shoulder. ANdrew ended up taking him to an urgent care and they said it was indeed a broken collar bone.

A trip to the Dr. on Monday told us it would heal on it's own and he would just need to keep it in a sling for a while

Ashlynn went in to get her braces off!

But then discovered something had happened to the wire on the bottom, so only the top could come off.
She wasn't too upset. She was upset about her discovery that we all seemed to match that day! I didn't notice till we got out of the car:)

Of course the next day.... They were matching again! I think she actually likes to match!
I made it to the butterfly release at school. Sienna was so excited.

 There were butterflies everywhere.

And so another April is checked off. Good times.

It sure is different as the kids get older. I find that I spend most of my time in the car, thus making it difficult to get to the shopping and cleaning that still needs to be done.
