Christmas Eve 2013

Christmas eve Singing Carols and listening to the Christmas story.

Then back home to open the gifts the kids exchange with each other.

They all draw a name to buy for.

 They love it!

Then we decorated some cookies for Santa!

Lucky guy.

And soon they were dreaming of sugar plumbs....

Christmas birthday.

Of course Cristal and Jordan came for Christmas.

We had to have a little family party for baby Elsie while they were with us.

She became a real pro at unwrapping presents right in time for Christmas.

Rigdon Says...

Recently Rigdon has been thinking... A dangerous past time. I know.

Rigdon; Mom when you get married and your real skinny... And you eat a lot of food.... then can you have a baby?

Me; What do you mean?

Rigdon; You know, you eat a lot of food to get a baby in your tummy.

As I finally get that he is asking if you have to eat a lot to get a baby in there as most of us start out marriage pretty trim.

Me; Of course. having a baby in your tummy can make you want to eat more.

We will leave it at that.

Later on a Monday night after Family Home evening we were on out way t o Mc Donalds to get ice cream cones.

As we were nearing the parking lot Rigdon Exclaimed "Are we going through the drive way?!"

I replied "yes, why?"

Rigdon sighed with relief as he informed us he had no shoes on.

Neither did I :)

Student of the month and the rest of Christmas prep.

Rigdon was student of the month in December and the First Grade had a little Christmas performance as well.
Andrew tried to get a picture of him looking at him, but I was standing straight ahead of him getting video. He never looked away, just sang right to me. love him.
Maxwell the elf was back again. The kids loved to wake up and run around to see who could spot him first.
Our elf isn't really naughty, that would be a bad example... He does like a good treat though.

Of course he knows the true meaning of Christmas.
Sienna was dying to gat a guinnea pig. I didn't want one of those... but this dwarf lion head bunny was so very darling.
Come on, He is too cute!
He stayed with Emilee, Shaine and Porter to await Christmas day.
