Gunner turns twelve!

I am getting old! Gunner turned 12 on September 30th. It was a Sunday and the day of the primary program. So we started out the day with waffles and church. During the primary program Gunner had a solo, which he did wonderfully. What a great way to finish out primary and head to young mens.

Bishop Burch, Grandpa Gillespie, Andrew, Brother Ashcroft, and Gunner.

Everyone in the program had on green bow ties or flowers. After sacrament meeting we went to the bishops office so he could be ordained a deacon and receive the priesthood.

This week (October 13th) was his first time passing the sacrament, so exciting!
Ashlynn made some cupcakes on his birthday.
We had a simple swim party the Saturday before his birthday. Boys are full of energy!

Gunner is so fun to have in our family.
He is smart and full of joy!
He has so many talents it's hard for him not to take them for granted.
This year he is back in piano and singing in the East Valley Mormon Choir.
He is finishing up elementary school as one of the big kids on campus. 6th grade!
He is slightly obsessed with video games.
He loves little kids! Especially babies.
He has such a good heart.
It's going to be a great year for him!!
