This Thanksgiving was a White year and since everyone was here a big family picture was in order for the day before.
I caught a few of the grandkids off to the side of the photographer.
The boys
The girls
The cooking began Wednesday night and continued to Thursday.
I had a pretty light load this year, pumpkin sheet cake, stuffing, and a fruit salad.
The men might be checking out a clip from Adam's movie soon to be coming out.
Jody getting the fryer ready for the Turkey. Is my mouth watering? YES!
The house smelled wonderful of course.
The kids had a blast! As they always do.
There were even some puppies! Does it get any better?!
Once the feast was ready we just had to gather everyone for the blessing on the food, Easier said than done.
The kid table. Three long tables end to end, impressive.
Rigdon loved the puppies.
The little girls had practiced a version of Joy to the World and performed it for us.
They were so cute!
The adults played some games Farkle which was fun! And then one I don't think has a name but you have one pencil and one dice. Everyone has a paper. the dice then gets passed around the circle and if you roll a 1 or 6 you get the pencil. Once you have it you start writing 1234567.... as fast as you can while the dice is still being passed along and rolled once another person hits 1 or 6 they grab the pencil and write numbers... the goal is to get to 100 first. It is quite wild and hilarious!
We were laughing so hard!
Dessert, I mean come on we burned off our dinner laughing our guts out.
Then the boys felt the need to wrestle.
A perfect Thanksgiving.
